Just wanted to do a quick post to let you know that my blog will be coming back here. Adding a few of the other post that were on the other blog manually so that I have them all together, blogger was taking a long time to import them, it's not like there was a boatload, only 7. Anyway keep a lookout for blog updates from me here from now on.

Hope everyone is well.

Something different. With the abstract pieces I eventually want to go larger and purchased some flat canvas panels, but for now I'm having fun doing them in the aceo size.

These were done with acrylic paint on watercolor paper 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.

"For Now"

"We Should Go"

"Above And Below"

The girl one is me thinking outside the box and wanted to do a more emotional piece.

"No Need"

Hope everyone is having a lovely October.

Two Dachshunds And Some Leaves

Here are some digital art images that I recently made.

This Dachshund is checking out the first leaf of fall.

This one is called "Happy In Your Face Fall!" Yes fall has arrived!

"When The Leaves Fall"

Here it is in a repeat pattern.

The leaves are starting to turn here. Are they where you are?

I love the Dachshunds, they are adorable!

I used to have two Dachshunds, but sadly they are gone now. They were one of the first subjects I used when I got into creating art. Those little long and low dogs have so much character and hope to have another one or two in my life again someday. :)

Colors Of Halloween

It's getting closer to Halloween! I made up a digital art piece called "Colors Of Halloween". It's a simple design of just three colors of black, orange and gray and has a texture. This design is available on a lot of products in my Redbubble and Society6 store. Below are some samples of the products that it's on, please click on the links above to see the rest. On some, the design is different on the same products between the two websites and that depends on how each of the websites wants images uploaded and also the size of the image. If my image is small then I will do a repeat pattern to be able to fill the size that is required.

Pillow, phone case, mug, print, shower curtain, tote bag, cover, pillow, t-shirt.

Happy Autumn!

Oh and please see this previous post here for a giveaway I'm having.

Aceos & A Deer

The aceos were calling me to make them again, so yesterday I made two. Both are done with acrylic paint on watercolor paper 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. The house one is a stamping done with a handmade rubber stamp. I also use the same stamp to make cards, gift tags and journals. Just thought it would be neat to use it for a different purpose.

You can find them up for auction here

                                                                                       House wearing a crown.

Something spooky for Halloween.

I got this little vintage deer on Ebay recently. What I know about him is that it's a Kunstlerschutz Handwork and was made from 1966 to 1983. There are other animals like this one, but thought he was the cutest. It's in really great shape too.

I call him Forrest.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I always love your Halloween pieces, and your houses, too!

Oh I hope I didn't scare you. I'm ready for Halloween to come and made up some goodies for my store. Now be prepared to be scared......or maybe not because this ghost is just too darn cute to scare the pants off of anyone. Well unless you scare very easy.

These items where made with a hand carved rubber stamp that I designed and made myself.

Ghost blank card.

Ghost gift tags.

3 Boos! Love the one peeking out from behind.

Ghost blank journal.

And one more Boo! Something scary is waiting to be written in this journal.

Ok so that's it with the Boos. For now.
Hope everyone is enjoying their week.

Yes, you are right, way too cute to be scary!

Journals & Gift Tags

I have been working on some new items and thought to share with you. Journals & Gift tags! Most of them are stamped with a rubber stamp that was hand carved myself. The "Antique Square" that is on the one journal is from a store bought stamp. I really like designing my own stamps and will continue do so for most of these items. Maybe I should do another post on my process of making the stamps. Stay tuned. Anyway here they are.
Journals are fully handmade by me and measure 3 x 4 inches. Made with brown kraft paper and have 10 pages, 20 pages counting fronts and backs of white paper. Bound with staples.

Gift tags are handmade by me except the white ones, they are store bought. The tags come in different sizes and most are made with brown kraft paper. Twine or string for hanging.

Stamped blank cards will be coming soon. Bookmarks are also a possibility. What do you think?

Lately I have been focusing more on drawing and here are the results.

Most of them are done with pencil and one is with colored pencils.

This was my first attempt at a realistic eye.

Second attempt.

Of course I had to do a teeny tiny eye.  1 x 1 inch.

Size comparison to a US quarter.

Colored pencils to me are a little more difficult to do with getting colors and shading right.

Some ACEOs done with pencil.  2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.

One thing that I have to practice more is doing the eye lashes. They're  my weakness!

Now I hope you don't have the feeling of being watched with all of those eyes.

Have a fantastic week.
